Hi everyone! Here I have another wallet-friendly outfit for you! I won’t post all the product details yet because I would like to know what you guys think of this outfit =)
The earth-toned dress and the tribal theme necklace are recent purchases and were $30 in change combined. Both are very understated pieces when worn individually but when put together, it adds a layer of sophistication to the whole pairing.
Where do you think I bought these two items?
Updates on March 13th, 2012
I just got back to NYC from a mini spring break to Boston with my fellow beloved ‘architects.’ We took photos of each others’ spring-inspired outfits so make sure you stay tuned for some guest models in the future posts!
I am sure almost every girl has a love-hate relationship with the infamous Forever 21. I will admit it, it is a store that stresses quantity over quality and I am sure that’s against almost every girl’s will. And not to mention that it often copies from designer brands and mass produces them. However, I appreciate the fact that Forever 21 can pull off thousands of different items from seasons to seasons just so that every girl will be able to find something wearable, affordable and yet chic.
I stumbled upon this earth-toned dress and the tribal theme necklace after work one day and just thought they’d go so well with each other. Usually I could easily persuade myself not to invest in Forever 21 products but I decided to purchase these two items because their quality is above what you typically find at Forever 21: shirt length taupe dress’s shoulders, sleeves, pockets are well-tailored and ir comes with a ‘belt;’ the statement necklace is well-constructed and unique how it mixes two materials. To finish off the outfit, I am also wearing one of my favorite gold rings of all times to add more quality to the pairing =)
